Stories
Perhaps. But aren't all of us living in a Story? Each of us tells the Story of our lives, with every action we take, with every word we speak. We tell the Story of Our Individual Life, & how it fits into the Greater Story of our community of friends, our identity-groups, our nations & our world. In our world of war, our brothers and sisters who tell a different Story are set at odds with us, and us with them. We need to find a way to balance the Stories that are old with Stories that are new--our own revelations. Free to tell New Stories, and blend them into the Old. Free to tell the Story not of War, but of Peace, & God's Love. Rather than let our Stories divide us, we believe we need to work together to find the Great Stories that will reunite humanity. To do this, our church studies all humanity's Sacred Stories, learns from one another, and writes New Revelations that help to bridge all the Old. Click here for more about our Stories! |
